Reconciliation

The sacrament of Reconciliation, also known as Confession or Penance, is celebrated at Ss Peter & Paul Church;

Weekly: Saturday, 8.30am - 9.00am
Monthly: First Saturday, 5.00pm - 5.30pm

Additionally, the communal celebration of the sacrament (2nd Rite) may occasionally be celebrated before Easter and Christmas.

 

 

First Reconciliation/First Holy Communion 2018

 

Candidates for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in our Diocese must be in year 3 or above and be a baptised Catholic or have been received into the Catholic Church.

 

If you would like your child to make their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in 2018 please attend one of the Parent Information Evenings. There is no need to notify the Parish Office that you will be attending - you just need to show up for one of the information evenings.

*** Please note that if you are from another Parish and you wish to participate in Ss Peter & Paul Sacramental Program you will need to get permission from your local Parish Priest.

IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND A PARENT INFORMATION EVENING YOUR CHILD CANNOT BE ENROLLED FOR FIRST RECONCILIATION OR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION.

* Parent Information Evenings – Thursday, 30 August at 7.00pm OR Tuesday, 4 September at 7.00pm. Location: Ss Peter & Paul Parish Hall, Kiama.

 

* Commitment Ceremonies - At all Parish Masses on the weekend of 8 & 9 September.

 

* Lessons: Full lesson information will be provided at the Parent Information Night.

 

* Sacrament of First Reconciliation - 26, 27 & 29 September. 

 

* Sacrament of First Holy Communion - 17 & 18 November.
