Reconciliation

The sacrament of Reconciliation, also known as Confession or Penance, is celebrated at Ss Peter & Paul Church;

Weekly: Saturdays,8.30am - 9.00am
Monthly: First Saturdays, 5.00pm - 5.30pm

Additionally, the communal celebration of the sacrament (2nd Rite) is celebrated before Easter and Christmas.

  

First Reconciliation 2020

Eligibility:

Candidates must be Baptised Catholics, in Year 3 or above, and be seven (7) years of age or older.

If your child is not Baptised or is Baptised in another Christian faith tradition please contact the Parish Office as soon as possible to arrange Baptism or Reception into the Catholic Church.

Registration and Enrolment:

Enrolments close Tuesday, 4 February 2020.

* If you miss the cut-off date please contact the Parish Office as soon as possible.

NB: We will NOT be taking enrolments at the Parent Information Nights unless you have pre-arranged this with the Parish Office.

Parent Information Sessions:

Ss Peter & Paul Parish Hall, Kiama

Attendance is compulsory at one session only.

* Thursday, 13 February - 7.00pm.

Commitment Masses:

Heldatall Parish Masses on weekend of 15 & 16 February.

Lessons:

Parish Hall and Meeting Rooms, Kiama

4 x 1 hour lessons held over 4 weeks.

* Tuesday – 18 & 25 Feb, 3 & 10 Mar, (3.30 - 4.30pm);

* Wednesday – 19 & 26 Feb, 4 & 11 Mar, (4 - 5pm);

* Thursday – 20 & 27 Feb, 5 & 12 Mar, (5-6pm);

* Friday – 21 & 28 Feb, 6 & 13 Mar, (3.30-4.30pm);

* Saturday – 22 & 29 Feb, 7 & 14 Mar, (4.30-5.30pm).

Attendance at ALL four lessons is compulsory.

Celebration of First Holy Communion:

At all Parish Masses (except 8am Mass at Kiama) on 5 & 6 December.
